Filming has wrapped on the latest video game movie from Hollywood.

The Watch Dogs movie based on the video game has finished filming, Ubisoft and New Regency have announced.

The Watch Dogs film wasannounced in 2013, but stalled multiple times (as many Hollywood productions do).

Productionofficially got underway in early July, so the film had a relatively quick shoot.

However, there continues to be no word on the setting or story for the movie version.

Beyond Watch Dogs, Ubisoft’s long-in-development Splinter Cell and The Division movies remain MIA.

One of Ubisoft’s biggest video game movies so far was the 2016 Assassin’s Creed starring Michael Fassbender.

It earnedmore than $240 millionat the global box office.
