Earlier this year, Sony Pictures announcedthe upcoming film adaptationof theUntil Dawnvideo game.
This casting decision suggests that the movie’s script will remain close to the source material.
Maia Mitchell and Belmont Cameli have also joined the cast in currently undisclosed roles.
The video game’s cast included Oscar-winner Rami Malek, Hayden Panettiere, and Brett Dalton, among others.
So far, Stormare is the only actor from the game confirmed for the film.
Annabelle: Creation and Shazam director David F. Sandberg will helm Until Dawn from a script by Gary Dauberman.
Production is expected to begin in August, but Until Dawn doesn’t have a release date yet.
In the meantime,a remake of Until Dawnwill hit PlayStation 5 and PC later this year.
