I’m a big fan of Sonic Boom.
I know, that might be controversial.
Sonic fans have long debated whichSonic CDsoundtrack is best between the Japanese and American releases.
For the opening at least, I’ve always loved theAmericanversion: Sonic Boom.
The chugging electric guitars!
The earworm vocal harmonies!
All of which is to say, I love the Sonic animation intros.
And the just-released intro for Sega’s forthcomingSonic Superstarsis hitting all the right notes.
Sega kindly, give us a 3D Sonic game in this style!
ThenSonic Originsadded in animated cutscenes to the original games using classic themes.
“New thrills, classic feels,” it boasts.
This is a four-player co-op game, of course.
I can’t wait to play the full thing.
