In 2023, The Last of Us saw the second-biggest debut on HBO since 2010 when Boardwalk Empire launched.
The Last of Us Season 2 takes place five years after the events of the first season.
Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey have returned as Joel and Ellie, respectively.
The new season also introduces characters like Kaitlyn Dever as Abby and Jeffrey Wright as Isaac Dixon.
Ramsey believes the end ofSeason 2 will leave people angry and emotionally traumatized.
That’s whyHBO has already announced The Last of Us Season 3.
As for Naughty Dog, the studio is busydeveloping the sci-fi game Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophecy.
Meanwhile,Neil Druckmann has been pretty noncommittal about a possible The Last of Us 3.
