Like a no-nonsense horror you unearthed in a 90’s video store.

I like a good gimmick.

The Cabin Factory is essentially one gimmick.

Two screenshots of The Cabin Factory spliced together, showing a burning cabin alongside a calm cabin.

It’s not really a full game built around a gimmick, it’s just the gimmick.

It’s a really cool one, though.

Is a cabin haunted?

The Cabin Factory’s player character, a woman with grey hair, is seen looking into a mirror inside a lift.

It’s a damn scary gimmick!

So how are they haunted?

Well, in a variety of ways, mostly using the four members of the family who lived there.

Close up shot of the Danger button in The Cabin Factory. It’s a red button with the word Danger written above it.

All rather unsettling, for sure, but not haunted.

F**k this for a laugh!

It’s time to leg it out the cabin and smash that Danger button.

A screenshot of The Cabin Factory showing a cabin on a conveyor belt alongside the machine that must be used to say if the cabin is haunted or not.

The cabin is whisked away, and a light turns on above the number one.

Only seven more to accurately rate in row.

The Cabin Factory is short.

I had a fun 90 minutes.

Well, fun might be the wrong word.

Like I said, I like gimmicks.

A man is seen trying to escape a fire inside a cabin in the game, The Cabin Factory.

It does the job.
