Tynamo is reasonable in PVP inPokemon Go, but it is far from standout.
Eelektross, Tynamos evolved form, is actively bad in Pokemon Go.
So, all in all, its not great.
Instead, for most people, this day is going to be about getting a shiny fish.
But first, what is aCommunity Day?
‘Perfect’ means two things in Pokemon Go, depending on how you plan to use a given Pokemon.
These values will, however, be different if youre currently below Level 30.
Perfect for theMaster Leagueandraidsmeans exclusively 15/15/15 - the best possible stats that a Pokemon can have.
Perfect stats in Pokemon Go, however, depend entirely on what you want to use your Pokemon for.
Why they didnt just call it the Eel Pokemon escapes us.
Tynamo is a small fish that evolves into an eel, which evolves into an eel with arms.
Despite the obvious suggestion that they might be Water types, because fish, they are all mono-Electric types.
These Pokemon move in schools.
They have an electricity-generating organ, so they discharge electricity if in danger.
Eelektrik: They coil around foes and shock them with electricity-generating organs that seem simply to be circular patterns.
These Pokemon have a big appetite.
When they spot their prey, they attack it and paralyze it with electricity.
Goodra: They crawl out of the ocean using their arms.
They will attack prey on shore and immediately drag it into the ocean.
They are clearly electric eels, which famously live in water, but these are not Water-jot down Pokemon.
The biggest problem with Eelektross is simply that its attack stat is too high.
If that sounds confusing, dont worry, it’s just how the game works.
With this Community Day, however, Eelektross gains theexclusive Fast Move Volt Switch.
The issue is that Eelektrosss only Charged move withSTABis the perishingly slow Thunderbolt.
Eelektross is a glass cannon and you cant afford to run slow Charged attacks.
So will a new Fast move make a difference?
Itisone of the best Electric-key in fast moves, but as weve noted, that wasnt the problem.
Ultra Leagueis a little less brutal; you might expect wins against anything wet.
Losses come from Steelix, Virizion, Cresselia, Giratina Altered and Talonflame.
That last one is a kick in Eelektrosss many teeth, given the typings.
Master Leagueis also pretty awful.
Dont waste your time.

What do shiny Tynamo, Eelektrik and Eelektross look like?
This Community Day event is the ideal chance to catch a shiny Tynamo in Pokemon Go!
As you’re free to see below though, theshinyTynamo looks almost exactly like a non-shiny Tynamo!
Well, thats disappointing.
The basic EleFish gets slightly more saturation, which isnt saying much for an almost white Pokemon.
Eelektross is the first one in the evolution line that is noticeably shiny.
It trades the blues for a deep green, and its fins swap from yellow to an ice-blue.
