Drops to 50fps are still possible, but this 1440p high FPS can work beautifully with a VRR display.

Despite this, frame-rates are all over the shop, even dropping below 30fps in an early cutscene.

I’ve seen interior areas strike a full 60fps, but it’s a rare sight.

A 30fps cap would go a long way for those 1440p and 4K options, for a start.

It hands responsibility to the end user, and no option is really 100 percent ideal.

Perhaps then, Volition ought to fine-tune Saints Row on console to offer up definitive 30fps and 60fps modes.
