Everything you’re gonna wanna know about Roselias Spotlight Hour.
This weeksSpotlight Houris all about the Thorn Pokemon.
Thats right, as spring… springs, its obviously time to catch a perfectRoseliainPokemon Go!
Roselia is one of those awkward middle Pokemon.
It’s time to crack a Lucky Egg and go to town evolving your spare Pokemon!
If youre currently beneath Level 30, however, these values will be different.
Perfect stats in Pokemon Go, however, depend entirely on what you want to use your Pokemon for.
Roselia evolution chart: What does Roselia evolve into?
The Thorn Pokemon, Roselia, is actually a middle-evolution.
Just to make life difficult, their Pokedex numbers are 406, 315 and 407 respectively.
Unfortunately, Budew cannot be caught in the wild - it is only available in Eggs.
To make this line even more obnoxious, Roselia evolves using 100 Candy plus a Sinnoh Stone.
Is it worth all this effort, though?
Not really - once they’re in your Pokedex, that’s pretty much it.
Roserade used to be decent in Raids, but it is long since outclassed.
Now we like it even less… ## Is Roserade good in PVP?
Nope, it is pure awful.
Its stats are the wrong way round to be useful and its Grass-based moveset is pretty naff.
Its Poison-pop in moves are better, but it doesn’t hold apetalcandle to the better/meta Poison-types.
The first two are Legacy moves, so you’ll have towasteuse an Elite TM to unlock them.
You’ll lose to Clodsire, Mandibuzz, Shadow Drapion, Shadow Feraligatr and Galarian Corsola.
As forUltra League, Roserade usesPoison Jab, Weather Ball (Fire) and Grass Knot.
This will bring you wins against Virizion, Clefable, Swampert, Galarian Weezing and Cobalion.
Losses will come from Skeledirge, Giratina Altered, Corviknight, Talonflame and Tentacruel.
TheMight and Mastery Seasonand itsseasonal questhas arrived.
you’ve got the option to now catchDynamax PokemonthroughMax Battles.
First, however, it’s crucial that you visitPower Spots to collect Max Particlesand complete theTo the Max!
What do shiny Roselia and Roserade look like?
The opportunity to catch ashinyform of the highlighted Pokemon is one of the biggest draws of any event.
However, unlike Community Day, a Pokemon’s shiny odds aren’t increased during a Spotlight Hour event.
Thanks to Reddit userSenatorangefor the preview!
As you’re able to see, shiny Budew is slightly sun-bleached, but with a purple sepal.
Shiny Roselia is equally bleached, but swaps its flowers from red and blue to indigo and black.
Shiny Roserade simply swaps its flowers from red and blue to purple and black.
These are truly awful shinies.
It’s such a shame - we love roses.
We love Pokemon and we love shiny things.
Come back next week for a primer on Shellder, with its double catch Stardust bonus!
Good luck finding a perfect Roselia in Pokemon Go!
