The Pokemon series has “found a new home” on Switch, Nintendo says.
More than 99 million Pokemon games have been sold for the Nintendo Switch alone.
Nintendo confirmed this as part of the company’s latestearnings announcement.
Nintendo owns a minority stake in The Pokemon Company and has been a steady partner over the years.
The next Pokemon game for Switch isPokemon Legends: Z-A, which releases in 2025.
More than 1.3 billion games have been sold to date for the Switch.
The systemwill play Switch 1 games, and Nintendo Switch Online will be supported across both systems as well.
