The Teal Maskis the first part ofThe Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLCforPokemon Scarlet and Violet.
During The Teal Mask DLC, you embark on a school trip toKitakami.
Here youll find both new Pokemon and ones from past generations who didnt originally appear inPokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Youll also learn about a local folklore concerning a group of Pokemon calledThe Loyal Three.
Before you get started, however, there are three important facts you should be aware of.
The first is to ensure you knowhow to start The Teal Mask DLCfor Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
This will prevent you from entering a trainer battle you’re definately not ready for.
These battles are exactly the same as the ones you had with theTitan Pokemonin Scarlet and Violets main campaign.
This means that, during these battles, you cannotcatch The Loyal Three.
(Though you will be able to do so later.)
Its also a good idea to save before starting the battle.
You may also want to make some team changes to ensure youre targeting the weaknesses for each Mask.
When battling Ogerpon, youll want to keep an eye out for the move Ivy Cudgel.
Its quite the powerful attack and can easily knock your Pokemon out in one-hit if youre not careful.
Ogerpons moveset also includes Grassy Terrain, Low Kick and Slam.
Still, no matter how you use this mechanic while battling Ogerpon, you should probably make it count.
