How to catch the Ruinous Tablets.
TheGrasswither ShrinecontainsWo-Chien- one of the Ruinous Pokemon inPokemon Scarlet and Violet.
These stakes are located in part of the East Province and eastern sections of the South Province of Paldea.
We do recommend unlocking all of theKoraidon / Miraidon abilitiesbefore attempting this side-quest.
Taking these lessons isnota requirement for pulling the stakes though.
Once there, head directly north-east and climb the rocks until you find the stake.
Its roughly in the middle of this area north of the road.
From there, youll be able to see the stake if you look south towards Los Platos.
Now all you have to do is jump down to the ledge below.
There youll want to head west along the cliff edge until you find the stake.
If you dont, turn back and head east - youve probably missed it!
Again, youll want to partoll this cliffedge till you find the stake.
Upon pulling the final stake, a roar will come from the shrine signalling the awakening of Wo-Chien.
With its exact location being east of, and almost parallel with, the Poco Path Lighthouse.
This will also allow you to fast-travel to them.
This means its weak toBug, Fairy, Fire, Fighting, Flying, Ice and Poison-types.
Psychic-key in moves will have no effect on Wo-Chien.
This will allow you to carefully knock the health bar back down if needed after Wo-Chien heals itself.
Dark, Electric, Ghost, Grass, Ground and Water-typesare ideal for this task.
Paralysing or putting Wo-Chien to sleep will also assist you in catching this Pokemon.
Just avoid poisoning it!
Wo-Chien has the Tablets of Ruin ability, which lowers the Attack stats of every Pokemon but itself.
