These Pokemon will be spread across The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk.
This mask is acting like decorated with Terastal crystals.
Maybe Ogerpon is quite cute beneath its mask!
Part 1: The Teal Mask will also introduce Okidogi, Munkidori and Fezandipiti.
In thanks the villagers created stone statues of these Pokemon.
Okidogi resembles a dog, Munkidori is clearly inspired by monkeys and Fezandipiti could take inspiration from a pheasant.
The Teal Mask DLC also introduced three new Gen 9 Pokemon.
The first two,Poltchageist and Sinistcha, are Grass and Ghost-punch in Pokemon.
Dipplin is a Grass and Dragon-punch in Pokemon which resembles a candy apple.
Terapagos is the legendary Pokemon arriving in Part 2: The Indigo Disk.
(Think of Discworld’s Great A’Tuin.)
The Indigo Disk will also bring Duraludon from Gen 8’s new evolution - Archaludon.
This Pokemon will be a Steel and Dragon-key in.
Finally, The Indigo Disk sees the introduction of two new Paradox Pokemon - Raging Bolt and Iron Crown.
Outside of trading, Walking Wake and Iron Treads can only be caught through Tera Raids.
Theofficial Pokemon Scarlet and Violet websitedescribes Sprigatito as, ‘The capricious, attention-seeking Grass Cat Pokemon.’
The Violet Pokedex adds, ‘The hardness of Floragato’s fur depends on the Pokemon’s mood.
When Floragato is prepared to battle, its fur becomes pointed and needle sharp.’
Meowscarada sets off the bombs before its foes realise what’s going on.'
This Pokemon utters a guttural cry as it spews flames every which way.'
Skeledirge
Skeledirge is the final evolution of Fuecoco.
Crocalor will evolve into this Pokemon once it reaches Level 36 or is above this specific level.
Skeledirge’s classification as the Singer Pokemon is referenced in both its Scarlet and Violet Pokedex entries.
The Pokedex in Violet says, ‘Skeledirge’s gentle singing soothes the souls of all that hear it.
It burns its enemies to a crisp with flames of over 5,400 degrees Fahrenheit.’
Rumour has it that the bird was born when the fireball on Skeledirge’s head gained a soul.'
Quaxly
Quaxly is the water-typestarter Pokemon for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Quaxwell will evolve into this Pokemon once it reaches Level 36.
This Pokemon uses its powerful legs to perform striking dances from far-off lands.'
Flourishes of its decorative water feathers slice into its foes.'
Oinkologne
Oinkologne is the evolution of Lechonk, with the evolution occuring at Level 18 or above.
Oinkologne’s Pokedex entry doesn’t just differ between Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but between Male and Female.
The entry for a Male Oinkologne in Scarlet read, ‘Oinkologne is proud of its fine, glossy skin.
It emits a concentrated scent from the tip of its tail.’
It shrouds itself in a floral aroma that soothes the Pokemon around it.'
Tarountula
This little spider can be caught in both Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
The secret behind the thread’s strength is the topic of ongoing research.'
Spidops
Spidops is the final evolution of Tarountula, with the evolution occuring at Level 15.
It takes out its prey before the prey even notices it.'
Nymble
Nymble can be found in both Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
The Pokedex in Scarlet tells us that Nymble - ‘It has its third set of legs folded up.
It neutralizes its enemies in short order.’
It can store the same amount of electricity as an electric car.'
Tandemaus
Tandemaus can be caught in both Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
They split any food they find exactly in half and then eat it together.'
Maushold
Maushold evolves from Tandemaus at Level 25, but you won’t watch this evolution occur.
It’s form, however, can differ after the evolution occurs.
The group might be a family of related Pokemon, but nobody knows for sure.'
This skin allows Fidough to intimidate its enemies by ‘puffing up their bodies to appear bigger.’
The website continues to explain that ‘Fidough ferments things in its vicinity using the yeast in its breath.
Said yeast is useful for cooking, so this Pokemon has been protected by people since long ago.’
When startled or attacked, Smoliv will shoot this oil out, slowing its opponent down.
It will then seize that moment to run away.'
This species has coexisted with humans since times long gone.'
After that, Dolliv departs from human settlements and goes on a journey.'
This Pokemon’s Pokedex entry in Scarlet reads, ‘This calm Pokemon is very compassionate.
It will share its delicious, nutrient-rich oil with weakened Pokemon.’
Each of these forms has its own Pokedex entry in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
The Green Squawkabilly Pokedex entry in Scarlet explains that ‘These Pokemon prefer to live in cities.
They form flocks based on the color of their feathers, and they fight over territory.’
While, in Violet, this Squawkabilly form’s Pokedex entry reads, ‘Green-feathered flocks hold the most sway.
When they’re out searching for food in the mornings and evenings, it gets very noisy.’
This species was particularly treasured in the old days, as thye would share precious salt.'
Naclstack
Naclstack evolves from Nacli at Level 24 and it does look like it belongs in Minecraft.
The curing process steals away the water in the prey’s body.'
Even severe wounds will promptly heal afterwards.'
Possessing a fiery fighting spirit, Charcadet will battle even tough opponents.'
Armarouge can learn the move, Armor Cannon.
Ceruledge can learn the move, Bitter Blade.
Tadbulb
This electric tadpole can often be found near water sources across the Paldea region.
If it senses danger, it will make its head blink on and off to alert its allies.'
Bellibolt
Bellibolt evolves from Tadbulb after a Thunder Stone is used upon it.
This electricity is then ‘discharged from the two bumps on eiher side of its head that resemble eyeballs.’
Its eyes are, in fact, the yellow ovals above its mouth!
Finally, Bellibolt brings a new ability to the Pokemon series - Electromorphosis.
This Pokemon dives into the ocean, catching prey by electrocuting them.
Kilowattrel
Kilowattrel evolves from Wattrel at Level 25.
By riding the wind, this Pokemon can fly over 430 miles in a day.'
Maschiff
Maschiff is both a Pokemon and a very good dog.
Mabosstiff
Mabosstiff evolves from Maschiff at Level 30.
Mabosstiff unleashes this energy all at once to blow away enemies.'
Grafaiai
Grafaiai evolves from Shroodle at Level 28.
Once it absorbs all the life energy it needs, it expels the prey and discards it.
The flaps that fall from its body are chewy and very delicious.'
They absolutely hate it when strangers approach.'
Klawf
Klawf is a crab who enjoys climbing onto cliffs so it can ambush its prey.
Scovillain
You must use a Fire Stone on Capsakid to evolve it into Scovillain.
It treasures its mud ball more than its own life.'
Therefore, it is thought that the true body of this Pokemon is actually inside the ball.'
Espathra
Espathra evolves from Flittle at Level 35.
Despite its appearance, it has a vicous temperament.'
Tinkatuff
Tinkatuff evolves from Tinkatink at Level 24.
It knocks rocks into the sky with its hammer, aiming for flying Corviknight.'
(Tinkaton craves violence basically.)
Wiglett
Wiglett, despite its appearance and name, is not related to Diglett.
Appartently it’s all one big conincidence, which, if you ask me, sounds a little suspicious.
Putting my personal Pokemon conspiracy theories aside, you might find Wiglett on the beaches of the Paldea region.
There it burrows through the sand and emerges to feed in the ocean.
It wraps its long bodies around prey, then drags the prey into its den.'
Finizen
Finizen has clearly been inspired by a dolphin.
(It very much captures the Seel the seal Pokemon vibe.)
It uses ultrasonic waves to sense the emotions of other living creatures.'
Palafin has two Pokedex entries in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet for both of its forms.
Revavroom
Revavroom evolves from Varoom at Level 40.
Its Pokedex entry in Pokemon Scarlet explains that ‘It creates a gas out of poison and minerals from rocks.
It then detonates the gas in its cylinders - now numbering eight - to generate energy.’
The petals it wears are made of crystallized poison.'
Glimmora
Glimmora evolves from Glimmet at Level 35.
Greavard
Greavard is a good boy from the great beyond!
Houndstone
Greavard evolves into Houndstone when it reaches Level 30 or higher at night.
Among all the dog Pokemon, this one is most loyal to its master.'
Flamigo
I wonder what might have inspired this Pokemon…
It seems to be closely related to Wailmer.'
Cetitan
Cetitan evolves from Cetoddle after an Ice Stone is used on it.
The spareflesh has a mild but delicious flavour.'
It teams up with a Tatsugiri to catch prey.'
It lives inside the mouth of Dondozo to protect itself from enemies on the outside.'
Annihilape
Annihilape is a new addition to the Gen 1 Monkey evolution tree.
Clodsire
Clodsire evolves from Paldean Wooper at Level 20 and I love them.
Clodsire is one cuddly clod.
It’s a risky move that puts everything on the line.'
It will carry Wooper on its back and ferry them across water from one shore to the other.'
Farigiraf
Farigiraf is the evolved form of the wonderful Girafarig from Gen 2.
Farigiraf also brings two new abilties to the series - Armor Tail and Cud Chew.
It evolves from Dunsparce after learning Hyper Drill, which Dunsparce at learn at Level 32.
The nest can reach lengths of over six miles.
Kingambit
Kingambit evolves from Bisharp, but conducting this evolution may take you some time.
Firstly, you need a Bisharp which is holding a Leader’s Crest.
The name Great Tusk was taken from a creature listed in a certain book.'
It resembles a mysterious creature depicted in an old expedition journal.'
Flutter Mane
Flutter Mane is a Paradox Pokemon exclusive to Pokemon Scarlet.
The robot was said to have been created by an ancient civilization.'
Iron Hands
Iron Hands is a Paradox Pokemon and exclusive to Pokemon Violet.
They cyborg was said to be the modified form of a certain athlete.'
Iron Moth, like Slither Wing, is an alternative version of Volcarona.
Iron Thorns is an alternative version of the Gen 2 Pokemon, Tyranitar.
The higher the temperature, the more energy Frigibax stores.'
This air can instantly freeze even liquid-hot lava.'
Gimmighoul
Gimmighoul has two forms - Chest Form and Roaming Form.
Chest Form Gimmighoul’s can be found living in a chest full of coins.
This event was actually Gimmighoul’s first appearance in the Pokemon universe!
This Pokemon gets along well with others and is quick to make friends with anybody.'
Chien-Pao’s design appears to have taken inspiration from snow leopards.
It plays around innocently by leaping in and out of avalanches it has caused.'
It casually swims through the sea of lava it creates by melting rock and sand.'
Roaring Moon
Roaring Moon is one of the Paradox Pokemon exclusive to Pokemon Scarlet.
It can be obtained in Pokemon Violet by trading with a player who has a copy of Scarlet.
Roaring Moon is a prehistoric version of Salamence, giving this dragon a bird-like look.
Iron Valiant
Iron Valiant is a Paradox Pokemon that only appears in the wild in Pokemon Violet.
Koraidon is a fighting and dragon-key in Pokemon, while Miraidon is an electric and dragon-key in creature.
You’ll first encounter either Koraidon or Miradion in the opening hour of your journey.
They will, eventually, come to act as a form of transporation.
