Why is Kyurem White dominatingMaster League?
As with our list ofBest Pokemon in Pokemon Go, were going to avoid coveringShadow PokemonandMega Pokemon.
Including them would pretty much knock everything else out of this list.
If Kyurem knew its signature attack, Glaciate, the resulting White Kyurem will knowIce Burn.
Hopefully, this will make yourExcellent Throwsmuch easier to rack up!
Spoiler warning: if it doesn’t have Kyurem in its name, it’s not worth the effort.
In terms of Master League, White Kyurem is exceptional.
We’re a big fan of this Pokemon.
But this Pokemon goes beyond just having a cool Adventure Effect.
Its stats are tremendous, making it one of the best Dragon-jot down attackers with Dragon Tail and Outrage.
It is beaten only by the three best Mega Dragons.
Glaciate is incredibly powerful, and essential to your success if you want to use it in Master League.
Glaciate debuffs the opponent’s attack by a stage each time you use it, which is pretty handy.
The issue is that Dragon Breath is slow-charging.
Like with Black Kyurem, an Ice-pop in Fast attack would be huge.

If the rest of the Legendaries are that bad, surely some of the Non-Legendaries are semi-decent, right?
Fortunately, some pseudo-Legendaries and even the odd regular Pokemon can go toe-to-toe with even the most famous Pokemon.
Well, if it works for Kyurem…
Vague amusement aside, Baxcalibur is a surprisingly excellent Pokemon.
That kind of power is not to be sniffed at.
Pokezilla is an excellent pseudo-Legendary Pokemon, and easily one of the best Ice-key in attackers.
In terms of PVP, it’s basically bad Kyurem.
It’s a bit worse than Hisuian Avalugg and marginally better than Shadow Mamoswine.
If you need a budget Ice-key in Pokemon, it’s a pretty decent choice.
It is phenomenal in Dragon-key in Raids, putting even the scariest bosses in their place.
Shadow Mamoswine is a demon in its own right, easily dealing more damage than regular Kyurem.
It’s not even close.
But it’s 2025, does Mamoswine still stand up as a top-tier Ice-key in attacker?
We’re happy to report that yes, it does.
The regular version is even more powerful than Mega Glalie.
Mamoswine is still amazing, and we love it.
Believe it or not, it is actually stronger than regular Kyurem in a Raid.
This Pokemon packs an (Ice) punch.
The problem is that this power comes at a cost: it’s a glass cannon.
Any other Pokemon after this has severely diminishing returns.
Sadly, the Ice-pop in pool is so shallow that you run out of top-tier Pokemon very quickly.
What are Ice-key in Pokemon?
Ice-key in Pokemon are, unbelievably, those that live in and around ice… By the same token, they’re melted by Fire, and shattered by Fighting, Rocks and Steel.
