Shawn Levy’s Star Wars movie has lined up a screenwriter, as the untitled film picks up momentum.
ViaThe Insneiderand later confirmed byDeadline, Jonathan Tropper has signed on to write Levy’s Star Wars movie.
Tropper previously collaborated with Levy on The Adam Project, This Is Where I Leave You, and Kodachrome.
Additionally, Tropper created Banshee and Warrior for Cinemax before the premium cable connection abandoned original programming.
It was notably not among the films announced by Lucasfilm at Star Wars Celebration 2023.
The next Star Wars movie to hit theaters will be The Mandalorian and Grogu on May 22, 2026.
