You now have toenter Battahlto continue your adventure in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
If you have the entry permit in your inventory, you’ll automatically see a short cutscene.

Do this twice in a row and follow the scene withHugo.
This means you’ll have to walk the entire way to Bakbattahl.
The ropeway is used by standing on it and turning the crank.
This will bring you to theCrumbling Ruins.
Use the other ropeways here, although you do have to travel on foot to reach some of them.
confirm your Pawns have boarded before you use a ropeway as harpies will attack as you use them.
You’ll eventually reachRopeway Station Onewhere theRockmouse’s Burrowsits directly beneath you.
Drop down and follow the dialogue betweenSaverioandTobias.
Speak toMenellaand then accompany her to the tavern.
There she’ll give you theBattahl Residence Permitwhich will allow you to explore the city freely.
Though this safety is not extended to your Pawns who are less than welcome in Bakbattahl.
Congratulations - the quest is now complete and Flickering Shadows will now automatically start.
