Monster Hunter World Surveyor’s Setresearch tasks is a questline introduced in the Iceborne expansion.
These have you use the new photo feature to take pictures of variousGajalakaandGrimalkynetribes in their habitats inMonster Hunter World.
Doing so will unlock new decorations for your room and more.
To help you out, we’ve gotsolutions to all Monster Hunter World Surveyor Set missionsbelow.
Once done, you shouldstart Iceborneand beat the first monsterBeotodus, which in turn unlocks the Seliana hub.
This log will contain the Location, Rewards and completion conditions of each Research Request.
The upper level is difficult to spot, so follow our instructions to reveal this hard to find area.
Head there and snap a photo to fulfill this final request.
Then, wait until the cat scratches its ears!
You’ll know when the red paw icon appears that you’ve done it.
Head over to where your Palico stands and the Protector should be right next to them.
Whip out the Surveyor’s set and wait for a surprised expression.
This one is super simple.
This should be it!
Monster Hunter World Hello There!
There, you’ll want to capture an image of two of them waving at each other zoomed in.
As ever, seeing the red paw.
Upon completion of this request, you will receive a Grimalkyne Doll (Navy) from the Lynian Researcher.
Capture them in the action with the Surveyor’s Set and you’ll be on your way.
After that, snap a picture of the Plunderers that appear when it gets trapped.
This one needs to be framed with the monster in it, so it can be tricky to get!
Use another quest to trigger the weather condition and wait until night time.
Then, we found this in Area 15, where you will be able to spot a Grimalkyne fishing.
Snap it and be on your way.
Monster Hunter World Let’s Dance!
There, you will be able to find them dancing.
Whip out the Surveyor’s Set and take a snap.
Then, head into any area and pick a fight with any monster.
We found it in Area 1 flying over some lava.
Upon completion of this, speak to the Lynian Researcher in Seliana to receive a Gajalaka Doll.
As ever, seeing the red paw will show you that you’ve gotten it right.
Monster Hunter World Ready, Aim, Fire!
This is incredibly tough to capture, but definitely possible!
Then, you should be able to find a Boaboa in the nude, skinny dipping.
We found it in area 2’s hot springs.
