In 2014, Monolith Productions introduced its Nemesis system inMiddle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.
Warner Bros.' patent on the nemesis system is set to expire on August 11, 2036.

TheWonder Woman video gamewas canceled with the closure of Monolith.
Had that game been finished, it would have been only the third title to utilize the Nemesis system.
Its controlled by WB until then.
Whether that means locked away will depend on them.
It would have been Wonder Woman’s first solo video game if it had been completed.
