One of Marvel’s executives teases that What If…?
Season 3 marks the end of the story for The Watcher.
Earlier this year, there were reports that Marvel’sWhat If…?series may be ending after Season 3.
But it does sound like it will mark the end of The Watcher’s story.
ViaEW, Winderbaum appeared on theOfficial Marvel Podcastand teased What If…?
Season 3 as the culmination of a trilogy about Jeffrey Wright’s Uatu aka The Watcher.
“It feels like the completion of a trilogy,” said Winderbaum.
“It takes us to places that you’d never expect.
It goes beyond the first two seasons in its exploration of the multiverse.
It’s unknown if that dynamic will be explored in Season 3.
Uatu was the narrator of What If…?
comic book series before it shifted to stories without a host or a narrator.
Perhaps the show could continue in the same way.
