But for Abby actress Kaitlyn Dever, the experience ended up hitting a bit too close to home.
Dever’s mother died from breast cancer roughly 14 years after first being diagnosed.
The actress sharedan Instagram postin February 2024 to remember her mom.
“So I was sort of in a fog.
I was in a daze.”
Mazin added that giving Dever “all the time you need” was important as well.
“While I care extraordinarily about the show, it’s a TV show,” Mazin said.
