With one of these quests under your belt, it’s time to return to Melve.

Upon arrival, however, you’ll find that Melve is being attacked by a dragon.

You should be able to talk to him after the cutscene to unlock the Mystic Spearhand Vocation.

When the sun rises, head to the ruined part of Melve to find Sigurd.

He should be around the well.

Don’t worry if he’s not there though - Sigurd isn’t gone forever.

Sigurd lives inHarve Villagewhich is located to the south-west of Vernworth.

It’s part of the early storyline quests given byBrantin the tavern in Vernworth.

Saurians are weak to fire and can be weakened by damaging their tails.

Once this is done, you’re able to find Sigurd in the village.

It’s labelled on the map as aCoastal Hut.

Once you’ve found him, it should be easy to speak to Sigurd.

Complete both his dialogues, including asking him about his fighting style, to learn about theMystic Spearhand Vocation.

Once you’ve unlocked the Mystic Spearhand Vocation, you canchange your Vocationin Dragon’s Dogma 2.
