Oldman is betting Warner Bros. hires a whole new cast for the TV show.
Oscar-winning actor Gary Oldman played Sirius Black in the Harry Potter movie series.
“No one has approached me about that.
Being Sirius Black again?
He wasn’t in [the films] enough.
“I would bet my money that they will get a whole new cast of people in.
Maybe in a few years I could do Dumbledore.”
Many are assuming the rest of the roles will be played by different actors as well.
The Harry Potter TV series is being made for HBO and Max, and Warner Bros.
Discovery CEO David Zaslav has said he believes it could help his company turn things around.
In other Harry Potter news, a remastered edition of The Lego Harry Potter Collection is coming this October.
