After a 38-year run at Sony, former PlayStation boss Shuhei Yoshidabid farewell to the company earlier this year.
“Moving from first-party to indies?
Well, I had no choice.
But I felt very strongly about the state of PlayStation and indies.
I really wanted to do this,” Yoshida said toVentureBeat.
“I believed I could do something unique for that purpose.
I feel like weve achieved that pretty well.
Theres still a lot we can do, but people are working on it.
I decided to leave.”
Yoshida also commented onwhy there is no Bloodborne remasterand why the PlayStation Vita failed, amongst several other topics.
