Fomantis evolution chart: What does Fomantis evolve into?
The Sickle Grass Pokemon, Fomantis, evolves into the Bloom Sickle Pokemon, Lurantis.
Unfortunately, both are pretty forgettable.
Neither are particularly useful or standout though we will concede that Lurantis knowing Leaf Blade is advantageous.
Is Lurantis good in PVP?
Nope, it is mediocre at best.
Some Pokemon exist purely to be pretty.
These are generally Pokedex fillers, and Lurantis is undoubtedly fits into this category.
If you are really keen to try it, Lurantis runsFury Cutter, Leaf Blade and SuperpowerinGreat League.
This is a spammy moveset that applies decent shield pressure, but on a Pokemon with below-average bulk.
It beats the Water-types that don’t have access to Ice-jot down moves, along with Claydol and Diggersby.

This will bring you wins against non-Ice, non-Poison Water-types.

What do shiny Fomantis and Lurantis look like?
The opportunity to catch ashinyform of the highlighted Pokemon is one of the biggest draws of any event.
However, unlike Community Day, a Pokemon’s shiny odds aren’t increased during a Spotlight Hour event.
Shiny Fomantis was released on June 16th 2023, as part of the Solstice Horizons event.
