Our complete guide to the reprised Crota raid.
The Son of Oryx has returned, as Guardians take on the reprisedCrotas End RaidinDestiny 2.
Ideally youll want a full team of six Guardians who can communicate clearly with one another.
Two encounters focus on executing mechanics.
Add clear weapons likeOsteo Striga or Riskrunnerwork great for that.
This Chalice is central to powering important mechanics in every encounter of the raid.
If it is passed successfully the Guardian is no longer Engulfed in Light, and instead possesses theEnlightenedbuff.
The Enlightened buff is used to power various mechanics throughout the raid.
You cannot pick up the Chalice while Enlightened.
It has no timer, and lasts until it is used or the Guardian dies.
Using Enlightened causes a temporary debuff called Drained of Light.
This lasts 45 seconds, and prevents the player from taking the Chalice until the debuff fades.
Occasionally you will encounter specialChalice Docksthat allow you to ‘preserve’ the Chalice of Light.
How to start the Crotas End Raid in Destiny 2
The raid begins in the Hellmouth.
You will load near a circular plate and a large pit leading to the Abyss.
The Chalice will be resting on its Dock, ready for someone to pick it up.
The goal here is toenergize the plate, which opens the raid entrance.
This energy comes from dumping Enlightenment into the plate.
Thralls and occasional Knights will spawn, but they arent a significant threat.
The rotation here is simple:
Repeat this process as each Chalice holder reaches full energy.
Eventually you will pour enough Enlightenment into the plate to form the bride over the Abyss.
The next part of our Crota’s End guide explains how to complete theAbysssection of the raid.
