A small update has arrived to bothCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3andWarzone.
The patch notes reveal buffs for several Modern Warfare 2 weapons.

Other small changes include spawn adjustments for Shipment map variants in multiplayer and improvements for challenges in Warzone.

The update also removes the aim-down-sight spread for the Brightblaze, Blastcap, and Caustic 20" bolt types.
Several shotguns from Modern Warfare 2 are buffed.
This list includes the P890, .50 GS, X12, and Basilisk handguns.
The gun received a slight decrease to the lower-torso damage multiplier, with a drop from 1.3x to 1.0x.
The update is much smaller on the Warzone side.
The only weapon balancing is the crossbow change.
MW2’s crossbow receives a similar buff as mentioned above for multiplayer.
It also removes the aim-down-sight spread for the Brightblaze, Blastcap, and Caustic 20" bolt types.
The patch notes include an adjustment to the Terriball challenge forWarzone’s Purgatory LTM mode.
Downing enemies with Terriballs now counts towards progression of kills needed for specificPurgatory Island event challenges.

In other news,Warzone has removed several popular playlistsfrom Resurgence and standard battle royale modes.
The change looks to remain until Warzone integrates with Black Ops 6 later in the year.
