In the past, PlayStation users got in first because Sony paid Activision.
But Microsoft now owns Call of Duty and has changed the playbook.
And for players who are able to get in, they might run into extended matchmaking wait times.
The Black Ops 6 beta is available now for people who preordered the game or have Xbox Game Pass.
Other ways to get in early includehaving Xfinity or paying $1 for a Game Pass trial.
The early-access period runs until September 4.
After that, an open beta available to everyone runs September 6-9.
