In 2026, the arcade classic Breakout will celebrate its 50th anniversary.

Essentially, players use Pong-like controls to bounce a projectile to destroy bricks that stand in their way.

Unlike the Breakout arcade game, this version will unfold sideways on a larger canvas.

There are 72 levels, and a second player can join in the action through local co-op.

Additionally, there will be an unlockable endless mode with an online global leaderboard.
