Where to find the Katano Castle Kura Key.
Katano Castleis most likely the first castle you’ll infiltrate inAssassin’s Creed Shadows.
Plus there’s anInsect Cageif that’s your thing.
it’s possible for you to also kill them in any order you like.
Once up there, check that you assassinate the nearby guard.
The first Samurai Daisho can also be found in the area this tower looks over.
There he patrols from the front of the building to the back.
Just ensure to kill any guards you encounter and stick to the shadows!
Once there, you’ll want to jump from the castle wall onto the room of the nearby building.
On the roof, see to it you’re etched on the small wooden platform.
It’s best to kill him here as, elsewhere, you risk getting spotted.
You may also want to dump his corpse in the nearby bushes.
The key is nearby and we’ve got a dedicated section covering how to find it.
For this reason, you’ll need to be a bit sneaky if you want to initiate the chest.
It’s in this wall, you’ll spot an open window on the left-hand side.
Climb up to this window and hang off the shill for a moment.
(Remember - civilians are orange, enemies are red.)
Once the coast is clear, climb in through the window and initiate the door immediately to your right.
It’s a good idea to exit the door as well just so you’re not caught unawares.
You’ll now find yourself in a small room which contains the red Katano Castle legendary chest.
Open it for your rewards and to complete Katano Castle!

The key itself is located within the smaller room on the left-hand side of the building.
There is a guard in this room though and you’ll need to kill him before obtaining the key.
There’s a number of ways you’re able to kill this guard.
Though, it’s possible for you to always just enter the room and kill him face-to-face.
One of the places the key opens is the storage shed opposite the building it’s found in.
Inside you’ll findcropsfor smuggling and a chest.
When no one’s looking, you’ll be able to jump from one bamboo platform to another.
Once he’s dead, collect your Insect Cage!
