Kacho’s locations and how to assassinate Kacho.
‘Chrysalis’is most likely the final mission you’ll complete on’The Butterfly Collector’Objective Board inAssassin’s Creed Shadows.
It sees you hunting down the kidnapper’s hideout location before facing the mastermind behind this plot - Kacho.
Don’t worry, we cover all that below in our’Chrysalis’ walkthrough for Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Be warned - this guide does containspoilers.
When it comes to ‘Chrysalis’, you’ll be hunting down the kidnapper’s hideout.
Especially since the kidnapper’s hideout really isn’t that hard to find!
The kidnapper’s hideout is a stone shed inside the fenced area just north of the Fishermen’s District.
Head left from the entrance to said district and then take your first right.
Shortly, on your right-hand side, you’ll see a gate.
Go inside the shed and pick up the notes you’ll find on the floor towards the back.
This note will now add a new target to the Objective Board - Kacho.
Kacho is located in the northern section of Nishinomaru Garden with her house sitting directly north of the lake.
(you could’t miss it, there’s a lot of butterflies.)
This spot is south of the Fukushima Ruins and the westly bridge leading into Nishinomaru.
She may also be the first Elite Enemy you fight, so this could be quite the learning experience.
(Though, depending on when you complete this questline, she might be at a higher level.)
It might not be the buff you want, but it should provide some useful assistance in the fight.
When it comes to fighting Kacho, you gotta be prepared for her to attack and dodge quickly.
She enjoys getting up close and personal before unleashing an attack.
Try your best to avoid combos as these can become excellent opportunities for Kacho to fight back.
Thankfully, her tanto attacks are well forecasted as most have a very noticeable build up.
Keep an eye out for whenever she throws a knife though.
What you really need to look out for, however, is her red, unguardable, kick attack.
double-check you evade this attack at all costs or else it could kill you.
Basically - leg goes red, leg hits head, you go dead.
That’s where we found the Toxic Katana of the Monk (Common Katana).
Overall, Kacho isn’t the most difficult foe to defeat.
Sadly, there’s nothing to be found in Kacho’s house.
(Guess a butterfly creep just needs butterflies.)
Best of luck defeating Kacho!
