Garfield doesn’t confirm or deny his involvement in the next Spider-Man movie.
Speaking toIndieWire, Garfield didn’t straight-up say no.
Of course, Garfield did end up being in No Way Home, alongside Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland.
For the next Spider-Man movie, Garfield said people should question what they read on the internet.
“I mean, like the internet is a big place,” Garfield said.
“I think there’s a lot of people who will just say anything to get clicks.
So you might have been duped, I’m afraid.”
In April, Holland himself commented on the future of series.
Holland said he’s wary of protecting the legacy of the series.
“Until we’ve cracked it, we have a legacy to protect,” he said.
“Whether or not we can find a way to do justice to the character is another thing.
I feel very protective over Spider-Man.
“So, I won’t make another one for the sake of making another one.
It will have to be worth the while of the character.”
Holland has also played Spider-Man in multiple Avengers movies.
