They’re all members of Constellation, Starfield’s mainfaction.
So those namedcompanionsyou’ve been recruiting in your travels unfortunately seem to be non-romanceable.
All four romance options are available no matter what pronouns your character has.
Sarah has a strong sense of morality and empathy, and can tell when things are going too far.
Sam Coe
Sam Coe is a member of the Freestar Collective with a strong sense of justice.
Throughout the game, you’ll encounter situations such as deciding whether to let a criminal run free.
Most of the time, Sam will dislike actions that go against his ideals.
So letting that criminal run free probably won’t get you on his good side.
He seems to have one soft spot though: his daughter.
Barrett
Barrett is the first member of Constellation you meet when you start your journey.
In fact, he’s the one who gives you your first ship!
However to raise affinity with Barret you still need to be kind while adventuring with him.
Andreja
Andrejais the last member of Constellation eligible for a romantic relationship with the player.
To verify you’re on the path to romancing a companion, you should use the’Flirt’option when it appears.
you’ve got the option to also track their location from here.
Complete this personal quest and tell your romance option that you love them to lock-in a romance with them.
Choose this if you want to fully commit to a companion and go through a ceremony with them.
Emotional Security gives you a 15% XP boost.
That can’t be good for the relationship.
Can you romance multiple companions in Starfield?
Then, it might be possible to pursue another romance option.
We highly recommend saving before doing this, just in case you aren’t able to start another romance.
Does romance continue in New Game Plus in Starfield?
No, your romance with a companion does not continue into New Game Plus in Starfield.
However, you’ve got the option to choose to romance them again during this new playthrough.
